When working together, humanity can create the most wondrous conditions for itself.    Scarcity, greed, war  --  all things negative could fall by the wayside if the pursuit of fellowship and solidarity took center stage in the affairs of mankind.

Yet, for some strange and curious reason, humankind seems ever divided.  Distracted.  Unable to reach consensus on the furtherance of its well-being on an existential level.

Why is this, some wonder.   Could there be a condition beyond that which is known to man that inhibits his emotional/spiritual/mental evolution?

Might there be, perhaps, someone pulling the strings?
